LLANELLI YOUTH THEATRE

I am proud to say I have come from Llanelli Youth Theatre (LYT), led by Christopher J Rees. I have performed in over 30 productions in my time there with one of my most famous roles being John Proctor from The Crucible by Arthur Miller. As well as performing and creating shows I would attend weekly workshops for over 9 years, that allowed me training, development and knowledge within acting and drama. Learning about practitioners such as Constantin Stanislavski, Bertolt Brecht, Antonin Artaud and Augusto Boal. Learning different techniques that allowed to become a more well-rounded actor.

Productions were eclectic, they included the style and genres of Musicals, Cabarets, German Expressionism, Realism, Naturalism, Symbolism, Physical Theatre, Study Of Classical Texts & Shakespeare.
